The creations of a dark mind

For those of you who don’t know what The Guild is, here is a little info.

The Guild is a web series created by Felicia Day (“Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog”, “Buffy”). It tells the story of a group of people who are in a “Guild” together in this MMORPG (Massive Multilayer Online Role Playing Game) which is kinda like World of Warcraft.

These group of people are forced to meet each other for the first time in real life, causing a string of hilarious situations.

The Guild booth at Comic-Con this year was one of the most popular in the whole event, even with such attractions as Iron Man 2 and District 9.

Anyway, that’s enough of back story i suppose, let’s get to the point.

The cast of The Guild recently released a music video called “Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?” which rocketed to #1 on iTunes in less then 48 hours.

This video is amazing, they did a fantastic job, i don’t think anything made geeks so happy since the last World of Warcraft expansion pack came out.

The video was directed by Jed Wheadon, Joss Wheadon’s brother and co creator of “Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog”.

You can watch The Guild on XBOX Live, YouTube or at www.WatchTheGuild.com – Even if you are not into MMORPGs (which i am not) you should check it out. Season 3 started yesterday on XBOX Live and soon will be out on other locations as well.
